How to practice this on your piano today

1. 1. On staff paper, write a 4-bar phrase mixing whole, half, and quarter notes on different pitches.
2. 2. With a metronome at 60 BPM, play and count out loud.
3. 3. Try the same phrase on a different starting note (transpose).
4. 4. Increase tempo by 10 BPM each successful pass.
5. 5. Aim for clean entrances and full duration on long notes.
